Hi, I have always been a creative person and in the past have had businesses ranging from wedding venue decoration and floristry to my newest venture of interiors and up cycling. I know not everyone likes doing creative tasks, so whether you need help to paint your kitchen units or decorate your Christmas tree then drop me a line.
Hi all,
I am 36 years old and my primary job is as a fairly highly trained maintenance engineer. I am still working full time as a shift worker but looking for a little extra flexible work to fit into my rest days. My academic training involves a Bachelors Degree in engineering and 5 years of college in various subjects across a range of subjects; so basically I am very good with my hands and there's not much I can't build/fix/create. My base trade is electrical/electronics so I am confident on electrical systems and appliances; however I am not 'Part P' registered at this time so cannot sign off works - so basic electrical works only for now (e.g. minor circuit alterations, sockets, lights, repairs etc).
I like to keep physically active so I am more than happy to labouring, garden work, landscaping etc. Even if there is a task that I am not familiar with (e.g. pond making), I am happy to do research and work it out, and reflect my inexperience in the price.
Due to my upbringing of lego and similar construction toys, I am a bit of a fan of flat pack (sad I know). I find it quite theraputic. I can either do flatpack one-off items or a whole job lot - prices would be dependant on hot big an item and discount for multiple items.
As a hobby I make custom items of furniture and similar. I do a lot of work with resins and I enjoy upscaling furniture. I also create custom items for situations where things off-the-shelf might not be a perfect fit.
Like I said before, there's not really much I can't build/fix/create so if you have a task and it's not included in my list then just ask. Typically my prices will be lower than most as I don't rely on this as my primary income; I just enjoy being helpful.
Hi, my core skills are DIY and flat pack construction and furniture construction. I currently work for Hillarys Blinds so have years of installation experience for fitting most items especially blind and curtain related. Fitting mirrors and related also.
Complete home maintenance and repair, gardening, flat pack furniture, shelving, cleaning, if you need something doing, chances are I have done it well! If I make an appointment I will be there and never let you down. Workmanship is guaranteed for life, no quibbles.
